He has played in the Grammy Jazz Band & was recognized as a YoungArts finalist, Downbeat Magazine Best Soloist, & winner in All Eastern / State competitions.
Varun has performed in USA, Europe, & Asia with orchestral, Bollywood, & jazz groups.
